Project Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Attend all project meetings.
• Coordinate MEP activities and ensure proper integration with project schedules.
• Create two-week look-ahead schedules and provide forecasts to the Project Manager.
• Schedule and direct subcontractors and on-site labor.
• Maintain a safe and compliant job site.
• Maintain required postings, signage, warnings, barricades, first aid kits, and fire extinguishers.
• Conduct, document, and track toolbox safety meetings.
• Track project activity and progress within Procore.
• Maintain accurate and detailed daily reports.
• Keep the Project Manager informed of project progress, delays, and issues.
• Take and maintain project progress photographs.
• Transmit all project documentation to the office in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date binders containing approved submittals and MSDS documentation.
• Maintain a conformed set of drawings and update them with addenda and supplemental instructions throughout the project.
• Create and maintain accurate as-built drawings for project closeout.
• Identify and communicate potential cost-saving opportunities to the Project Manager.
• Notify the Project Manager of all change orders.
• Perform approved and authorized change order work.
• Review project budgets with the Project Manager and identify impacts to cost.
• Establish and manage General Conditions budgets with the Project Manager and review costs daily.
• Coordinate material ordering by identifying material requirements, reviewing with the Project Manager, and processing material requests.
• Provide input regarding potential subcontractor selection.
• Review subcontractor scopes of work.
• Work with architects and construction managers to obtain timely punch lists.
• Complete all punch-list items within two weeks of receipt.
• Review subcontracts and maintain familiarity with all scopes of work.
• Minimize subcontractor change orders when possible.
• Maintain subcontract documentation on-site.
• Assist the Project Manager in compiling required closeout documentation.

Education:

• OSHA 10 Certification
• OSHA 30 Certification
• CPR Certification

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and urgent deadlines.
• Strong leadership, management, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of prior construction supervisory experience.
