Crew Chief

Throughout 60 years, business has diversified and transformed as we cultivated a leading and innovative full-service General Contracting, Restoration and Construction Management firm, RENU Contracting Restoration. Servicing clients throughout the Long Island, New York tri-state region our dedication to our customers is the foundation of what allowed these two companies to stand together as one.

We are currently seeking a Crew Chief for fire & water clean-up restoration services. Renu operates on an Emergency Basis, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be responsible for overseeing jobs & supervising your crew. Must be comfortable supervising/managing both the crew & the job to assure jobs are profitable.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Labor intensive-Manage Crews at site in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support Technicians and other sub-contractors as needed.
  • Coordinate requirements for the job, supervise production and monitor jobs from start to finish.
  • Provide and communicate clear and accurate scoping of services and job estimates to customers.
  • Communicate and establish rapport with commercial and insurance customers.
  • Perform services of clean up for water, sewage, mold, fire, smoke biohazard and trauma.
  • Handle problems as they arise.
  • Monitor and follow up on jobs as assigned.
  • Be on a rotating 24/7 Emergency On Call Schedule.
  • Manage job file documentation to ensure complete and accurate project details.
  • Manage and control costs of production projects.
Qualifications:
  • Two years’ experience in the mitigation/restoration field (Preferred)
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • IICRC certifications preferred
  • Organizational Skills
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving history
  • Ability to Pass Background Check
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
