RENU Contracting Restoration and Milburn Flooring together support organizations within the community. Finding ways to contribute and meet members of the community is a priority and an opportunity to make Long Island a better place to live. They are members of and participate in events for organizations like the Grenville Boys and Girls Club, New York State Fire Dept Trade Shows, LIBI, LIVCTA, Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital and most recently, Help America Hear and Our Lady of Mercy. They’ve provided sponsorships and provided help to these organizations in whatever ways will help events be more successful.
Milburn Flooring had the privilege of recently installing a gym floor in the new facility at Grenville Boys and Girls Club located in Locust Valley, NY. The Boys and Girls Club is a healthy and safe place for learning and discovering potential for two hundred children each day and meeting the developmental needs of young people in our neighborhood. They will be sponsoring an upcoming golf outing event for the Boys and Girls Club this summer.
Help America Hear provides hearing aids to qualifying individuals with limited financial resources and RENU and Milburn took part as a sponsor at their event in June.
“We are looking to support the medical community to help enhance the life of individuals with devices that can help them hear, in turn providing them with an increased quality of life.” says Ana Kalmar, a Business Development Specialist for RENU Contracting Restoration and Milburn Flooring.
Being avid supporters of education of all types, RENU and Milburn believe in the mission of Our Lady of Mercy to offer young women college preparatory education rooted in Catholic values. Their challenging yet supportive environment is all encompassing and provides opportunity to discover strength and talents to be independent thinkers who act with social responsibility. Milburn Flooring recently provided Our Lady of Mercy with a new gym floor which will be dedicated to their former Athletic Director, Karen Andreone. In an effort to show commitment to these causes, RENU and Milburn not only sponsored golf outings, they also provided unique raffle items and donated time to ensure these events were as successful as possible.
RENU is also a member of LIBI (The Long Island Builders Institute). LIBI is an association of building industry professionals who are dedicated to making Long Island a better place to live and work, by creating a balance between the economy, the environment, and the achievement of the American Dream of Ownership in all communities.
RENU and Milburn have been involved with the LIVCTA (The Long Island Village Clerks and Treasurers Association) for years, fundraising events to raise money for places like South Nassau Hospital where their team also donated their time at an event this past spring.
